The Cool Earth is an organization dedicated to helping increase awareness of problems associated with the current climate crisis. Our founder, Duane Burghard, is a former US Naval Officer who spent 13 years as CEO of one of the largest Apple Computer dealers in the U.S. and was the Democratic Party’s 2006 nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s 9th District. He has been formally trained (by Mr. Gore himself) and certified by The Climate Project to present the slideshow made famous by former Vice President Al Gore in the film “An Inconvenient Truth.” Duane is an engaging, dynamic and entertaining speaker who mixes science, technology and humor in his presentation.
